Home is where the heart is-PTU (Animated)

This tutorial was written on August 3, 2009 by Shani aka Wicked Princess. The concept of the tag is mine and mine alone. Any resemblance to any other tag/tut is pure coincidence. This was written for those with working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies Needed:


++Paint Shop Pro ( I used 10 but any version should work)

++Animation Shop 3

++Scrap kit by Country Hollow Designs called Sunflower Splash can be purchased HERE

++ Tube of choice or the ones I used. I used the artwork of Suzanne Wolcott and it can be purchased HERE


++Plug in:
-Xero Soft Mood
-VM natural, sparkle
-Xero, Soft Mood

++Font and mask of choice.

Let’s get started!

**NOTES:
-Add Drop shadow of choice as you go
-You can merger layers as you want to make things easier for yourself.

Open the template in PSP, using your shortcut keys on your keyboard (SHIFT+D) duplicate the template as a new image. Close the original.

Open several papers of choice, resizing as needed. For example, when I look at the blue bar where it tells me what I’ve opened (say like paper 2) it tells me what percentage I’m viewing it at. For me it’s usually 16%, so I resize to 16% bringing it to 100%. ( I hope that made sense!) Once you’ve done this, minimize for later use.


Next open a canvas of 650x650 and flood fill with your choice of paper. Add your mask of choice and merge the group.

Open a frame you like, copy and paste into the center of the canvas. Use your magic wand tool and click inside the frame. Go to selections, modify expand by 5. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your choice of paper. Go to selections, none. Note: I used the airbrush tool on the background layer to fill in where it was needed that the fill didn’t go.

Next open the fence, tree and flowers clip art. Resize it then copy and paste as a new layer towards the bottom of the frame layer. Adjust and move where you like it.

Add your tube of choice into the frame, move where you like. Add the plug in xero, soft mood at the random setting you like. Adjust and move as you like.

Open your bouquet of sunflower and resize. Duplicate it and move each to the opposite sides of the frame. Adjust as needed.

Next add your text, copyrights, license info and tagger markings.

Go back to the background layer from the frame, duplicate it twice so now you have three. On the bottom background layer, go to your plug in Vm Natural, sparkle. Add a random sparkle you like. Go to the next one up, add another random sparkle, but jus ten higher. Repeat it for the last one. Now close off the top two background layers, and go to edit, copy merged.

Open Animation Shop, and right click when the menu pops up go to paste as new animation. Next go back to PSP, close off the bottom layer, close it off and open the middle one. Go to edit, copy merged and back to Animation shop. Go to edit, paste after current frame. Repeat this process for the last one.

Click on the movie strip at the tool bar in animation shop to animate it. Once happy, save it and your done!
