Misty Rains PTU (Animated)

This tutorial was written on August 27, 2009 by Shani aka Wicked Princess. The concept of the tag is mine and mine alone. Any resemblance to any other tag/tut is pure coincidence. This was written for those with working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies Needed:

++Paint Shop Pro ( I used 10 but any version should work)
++Jasc Animation Shop 3

++Reminise Scrap kit by Oopsie-Daisy can be purchased HERE or HERE

++Template 7 by Wacky Scraps can be found HERE

++Tube of choice or the one I used. I used the tube that was included in the kit. If you choose to not use any other artist tube, please credit the designer on the tag with the url to their site. Thank you!

++Plug in:
-Alien Skin Xenofex 2
-Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

++Font and Mask of choice

Let’s get Started!

**NOTES:
-Add Drop shadow of choice as you go
-You can merger layers as you want to make things easier for yourself.

Open the template in PSP, using your shortcut keys on your keyboard (SHIFT+D) duplicate the template as a new image. Close the original.

Open several papers of choice, resizing as needed. For example, when I look at the blue bar where it tells me what I’ve opened (say like paper 2) it tells me what percentage I’m viewing it at. For me it’s usually 16%, so I resize to 16% bringing it to 100%. ( I hope that made sense!) Once you’ve done this, minimize for later use.

Next go to the bottom template layer and go to selections, select all, then float, selections defloat. Add your gradient glow of choice. Don’t forget to go to selections, none then delete the template layer. Repeat this process for the rest of the template.

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your choice of paper. Add your mask and merge the group. Move this layer to the bottom of your layer palette.

At this point close off all layers, except for the two bottom template layers, the swirly’s. Merge these two layers together. Open all layers back up.

Open the wrap ribbon of choice. Resize it then copy and paste as a new layer. Move below the circle template layer.

Next open the clouds of choice, resize then copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the upper right then duplicate it. Go to image, mirror.

Then add the tree, centering it into the circle template layer.

Open the pearly swirl element. Resize the copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the left of the tag, right about in the squares. Duplicate it and go to image, mirror.

Now open the ribbon with the loops and bows in it. Resize it then copy and paste as a new layer, centering into the circle template layer.

Next open the flower/leaf set. Resize then copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the left of the square up top. Duplicate it and go to image, mirror. Then move it to the bottom square on the outer side.

Open the rose of choice, resize then copy and paste as a new layer, centering in tree. Add another one to either side of that one. Adjust and resize as needed.

Open your tube of choice, resize then copy and paste as a new layer into the center of the tag. Adjust as needed.

Next open the small flower of choice, copy and paste as a new layer to the bottom of the flower and leaf bundles.

Then open the angel statue, resize and copy and paste as a new layer to the bottom left of the tag. Add three daisy’s of choice to the bottom of it.

Add your text, copyrights and tagger markings. Save as a psp image if you choose to go on with the animation. If not save as a jpeg or png and your done.

ANIMATION:

Open up animation shop and minimize it. We’ll go back to it in a few moments.

Go gack to PSP, and find your template swirle layer. Duplicate it twice so you now have three.

Do the same for the circle template layer.

On the bottom swirl layer, using your plug in, Xenofex 2 , Constellation with the following settings:

Star Size: 0.03
Size Variation: 44
Edge Star Density: 18
Overall Star Density: 18
Overdrive 100
Twinkle Amount 97
Twinkle Rotation 45

Click ok.

Go to the next layer up, and use your plug in again but hit random seed. Repeat this for the last swirl layer.

Now go to your circle template layers, first the bottom one and repeat these steps.

Once done with that close off the top two of the swirl layers and the circle layers. Go to edit, copy merged.

Over into animation shop, right click and click on paste as a new animation.

Back to PSP close off the bottom two layers, and open the middle ones on both the swirls and the circle. Go to edit, copy , merged and back to animation shop. Go to edit, paste after current animation.

Repeat this process for the last set.

Save as a gif and your done!

Thanks for trying my tutorial.

Let’s get Started!

**NOTES:
-Add Drop shadow of choice as you go
-You can merger layers as you want to make things easier for yourself.

Open a new canvas of 600x600. Remember you can always resize later. Flood fill the canvas with your choice of paper. Add your mask, and merge the group.

Next open the leaf frame. Copy and paste as a new layer into your working canvas. Open the pinecone frame and copy and paste as a new layer over the leaf frame.

Go back to the leaf frame, and use your magic wand tool and click inside the frame. Go to selections, modify expand by 8. Add a new raster layer and fill with your choice of paper. Move this layer below the frame layer. Go to selections, none.

Next open the doodle of your choice, resize it then copy and paste as a new layer. Angle it and move it to the upper left hand side of the tag. Move this layer down below the frame layers, just above the mask layer. Duplicate it and go to image, mirror then, image flip.

Open the grass with rocks layer, resize it then copy and paste as a new layer and move it to below the leaf layer. Erase any parts that are showing beyond the frame.

Then open your sunflower, resize it if needed and copy and paste as a new layer. Angle it slightly and move to the upper left side of the tag. Move this layer just above the pinecone frame layer. Duplicate it and go to image, mirror. Add the bow of choice to both flowers.

Open the wooden bench then copy and paste it as a new layer. Center it into the bottom portion of the frames.

Add a pumpkin of choice to either side of the bench. Add two leaves behind the pumpkins.

Open your tube of choice, then copy and paste as a new layer into the center of the tag. Place in front of the bench to look as if she is sitting on the bench or leaning on it.

Next open the moon and copy and paste as a new layer to the top left portion of the tag. Resize it and adjust as needed.

Open three of the leaves you like, copy and paste as new layers, towards the top. Arrange them as you like.

Add your text, license info, and copyrights. Save as a psp image if you choose to animate, if not save as a jpeg or png.

ANIMATION:

Open your animation shop and minimize it.

This is kind of tedious but the end result is pretty cool.

In PSP, move your moon slightly to the right. Then move and arrange the leaves slightly moving them to the right. Go to edit, copy merged and over to animation shop.

Right click and go to paste as new animation.

Back to PSP, repeat the process, moving the moon and leaves a little more. Edit, copy merged and back to animation shop. Go to edit, paste after current frame.

Back to PSP and repeat the process until you have all the frames you like.

In Animation shop go to animation, animation properties and change it to the speed you like. I changed mine to 30 but you can make it higher to make it slower if you like.

Save as a gif and your done!

++Jasc Animation Shop 3

++Hocus Pocus Scrap kit by Crazed Creations can be purchased <HERE

++Template 161 by Designs by Ali can be found HERE

++Tube of choice or the one I used. I used the artwork of Keith Garvey which can be purchased HERE

++Plug ins:

Xenofex 2-lightening

++Font and Mask of choice

Don’t forget to go to selections, none then delete the template layer. Repeat this process for the rest of the template.

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your choice of paper. Add your mask and merge the group. Move this layer to the bottom of your layer palette.

Open the spider web and resize. Copy and paste as a new layer to the upper right hand corner of the tag.

Next open the pumpkin string, resize it then copy and paste as a new layer. Move it below the left sided rectangles. Adjust as you like it.

Then open the haunted house, resize then copy and paste to the bottom left side of the tag. You’ll need to center it there the way you think it looks best. I had a hard time adjusting it and messed with it quite a bit lol.

Open the bat you like and resize. Copy and paste as a new layer, at the top left corner of the tag.

Add a broom, ribbon and bow you like to the right side of the tag. Place the broom first, with the bottom up towards the top. Then the ribbon at the center bottom of the broom bristles, and the bow on top of that.

Choose all three of the wrap candy’s and resize by 20%. Copy and paste as new layers, and move into a row on the left hand side. I placed them so they were half over the two rectangles.

Open the mummy sticker, resize then copy and paste as a new layer towards the right, bottom of the tag.

Next open the three hard candies, resize them to different sizes and copy and paste them as new layers. Move them and arrange them to overlap to the right of the mummy. Add the cauldron next right below those.

Open your tube of choice, and resize a bit. Copy and paste and center into your tag.

Add your copyrights, license number, text and tagger markings.

Save this as a pspimage so you have it in layers for later use and before we start the process for animation.

If your not animating, then save as a jpeg or png and your done!

ANIMATION—

Open Animation Shop and minimize it, we’ll be back to it in a minute.

Next go back to PSP, with your current tag up select the haunted house layer and duplicate it twice so you now have 3.

Repeat this for the cauldron also.

Go back to the cauldron, and on the bottom cauldron layer and use your plug in Eye Candy 4000 smoke. I went to settings, and chose small puffs. Go to your second cauldron (the one right above it) and use the plug in again, but hit random seed. Do this the same for the last one.

Next go to the haunted house layer, the one on the bottom. Using your plug in xenofex 2, lightening add the distant lightening setting to it. Go to the second one up, and add it again, but on the random seed setting. Do the same for the last one.

Now close off the top two haunted houses, and the top to cauldrons. Go to edit, copy merged and go to animation shop. Right click and click on paste as new animation.

Back to PSP, close off the bottom layers on each the haunted house and cauldron and open the middle ones. Edit, copy merged, and go to animation shop. Edit, paste after current frame.

Back to PSP and repeat this process for the last one.

Once all done, you should have three frames total in animation shop. Click on the filmstrip button up in the animation tool bar and you should see your animated tag!

Save as a gif and your done.

Now open the purse, MP3, chapstick and bow of your choice. Resize them and copy and paste as a new layer to the right side. Arrange them how you like.

Next add your tube of choice, placing in the center of the tag. NOTE I did my text and moved the tube to the top layer. This is optional, you set it how you like.

Add your copyright, any text and tagger markings.

Save this as a psp image if your choosing to do animation. If not save either as a png or jpeg.

++ANIMATION++

Open Jasc Animation 3.

Go back to PSP and follow these steps to set up your animation….

Activate the bling layer, and duplicate it twice. You should now have 3 of them. Go to the bottom one and go to Adjust, add/remove noise and add these settings:

Make sure Uniform is checked and the percentage to 25 then click ok.

Go to the next bling layer, repeat this but make the percentage 35.

Go to the third bling layer, repeat this but make the percentage 45.

Next your going to go to your circle template layer, make sure this is the active layer. Duplicate it twice, so you now should have three. Go to the bottom circle and add the Xero Fritallry plug in. I just did a random one that I liked.

Go to the next circle layer and do the same, hitting random again. Do this one more time for the third circle layer.

Now comes the jiggling booty! Lol

Activate your tube layer, and duplicate it twice. You should now have three. Go to the bottom tube layer. Using your freehand selection tool (it looks like a rope) trace around the area of her booty that you want to make “jiggle” remember to not do it too far out or you’ll mess it up. To make it easier for myself to be able to trace and not mess up, I have my freehand selection set to the following:

Selection type: point to point
Mode: Shift
Feather:0
Anti Alias checked
Smoothing:0

This allows me to click in one spot angle out click to connect and so on. Once you have it traced all around like you like, right click to make it the dancing dots.

Ok now you should have the selection all ready and the dancing dots are active. While still on this layer, go to your plug in Eye Candy 4000-Jiggle with these settings:

Movement type: Bubbles
Bubble size (pixels): 36.00
Warp Amount (pixels): 7.20
Twist: 20

Random Seed set to 5

Click ok.

Go to the next tube layer up repeat this but Random Seed set at 10.

On the final tube layer repeat this again but Random Seed set at 15

Go to selections none.

Now is the time to animate!

Starting at the bottom, go to the bling layers. Close off the top two bling layers. The bottom one should be the only one open.

Go to the first circle layer leave it open and close off the other two.

Go to the first tube layer, leave it open and close off the others.

Now go to edit, copy merged.

Go over to Animation shop, right click and click on paste as new animation.

Go back to PSP, close off the first layers for the bling, circle and tube and open the second one. Go to edit, copy merged and back to animation shop.

Go to edit, paste, paste after current frame.

Back to PSP….

Close off the second layers of the bling, circle and tube layers and open the third ones. Go to edit, copy merged and back to animation shop once more!

Go to edit, paste, paste after current frame.

Now we’re going to animate…

Go to the tool bar and click on the little button that looks like a movie film clip. You should now see your tag animated!

Save it as a gif and your done!

Can You Handle This? (Animated) FTU

This is my first animated tutorial! I hope its easy to use for everyone.

This tutorial was written on July 17, 2009 by Shani aka Wicked Princess. The concept of the tag is mine and mine alone. Any resemblance to any other tag/tut is pure coincidence. This was written for those with working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies Needed:

++Paint Shop Pro ( I used 10 but any version should work)
++Animation Shop 3

++Scrap kit by Alyssa called Girlie spots Add OnHERE++Template by Alyssa can be found HERE

++Template also by Alyssa can be found HERE++Template by Alyssa can be found HERE

++Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Keith Garvey. You can purchase her work HERE You must have a valid license in order to use her work.

++Mask and font of choice

++Plug ins:
-Tramages-Two the line
DSB Flux Linear Transmission

++Xenofex, constellation

++Effects:
-Blur-Guassian Blur

Don’t forget to go to selections, none then delete the template layer. Repeat this process for the rest of the template. **NOTE I angled the paper slightly in the pattern palette.

Add a new raster layer, and flood fill with your choice of paper. Add your mask and merge group. Send this to the bottom of the layers palette.

Go to the bottom rectangle layer and use your plug in Tramages-Two the Line with the following settings:
-control0- 80
-control1 – 54
-control2-48
-control3-9

Repeat this for the other two rectangles.

Go back to the bottom rectangle layer and duplicate it. Then go to adjust, blur, guassian blur and use your choice of setting.

Go back to the original rectangle and use your plug in , DSB Flux, linear transmission with the following settings:

Slice Size: 26

Offset: 1

Blend: 50

And set to vertical. Click ok.

Go to the second rectangle layer and do this again with the same settings. DO NOT do this for the last one.

Open your tube of choice, copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer below the frame you want to put it in. For the top one, I centered it where I liked it then using the magic wand tool, clicked inside the frame, go to selections, expand by 3 and go to selections invert. Go to the tube layer and hit delete on your keyboard. Go to selections, none.

Repeat this for the other two frames.

Open the lipstick element, copy and paste as a new layer to the left on second rectangle layer. Duplicate it and go to image, mirror.

Next add a bow of choice after resizing to the space between the frames. Adjust as needed.

Open the charm and flower of choice. Copy and paste the charm to the left hand side of the first rectangle in the corner. Duplicate it and go to image, mirror then also add the flower. Duplicate this also and go to image mirror.

Next open the butterflies and place in various positions where you like on the tag. Adjust as you need.

Add your copyrights, license info, tagger marking and any text you want.

SAVE this now as a psp image so that you have it for the basis if you chose not to animation later. Or if your not doing the animated part, go ahead and save as normal and be done.

++ANIMATION++

Go to your frames, close off everything and merge JUST the frames together. You should now have one layer with all three frames.

Duplicate this layer three times.

Go to the bottom frame layer, and add your constillation plug in with the following settings:

Star Size: 2.16
Size Variation: 6
Edge Star Density: 1
Overall Star Density: 1
Overdrive 100
Twinkle Amount 55
Twinkle Rotation: 45

Make sure keep original image is selected.
Hit the random seed button-this will set it at random.

Click ok and you will see where this now looks like you have a bunch of little stars all over the frame.
Go to the frame layer right above this one, your going to add the constellation plug in again. Same settings (which should come up as default) click Random Seed again and click ok. Repeat this for the last one also.

Now comes the tricky part!

Open your animation shop.

Go back to PSP and close off the top two frame layers, go to edit, copy merged. Go to animation and right click, when the menu pops up, click on paste as a new animation.

Go back to PSP, hide the first layer and open the second go to edit, copy merged. Go to animation and go to edit, paste, paste after current frame.

Back to PSP one more time and close off that layer and open the final one. Go to edit, copy merged and back to animation shop. Go to edit, paste, paste after current frame.

Now go to the animation button up in the tool bar, it looks like a film strip.

If your satisfied, save it as a gif and your done!

Thanks for trying my tutorial.
